Understanding the time and labor-intensive nature of the traditional manual insertion process, Sam designed the Staple Wasp tool to streamline this task, making it faster, more efficient and more ergonomically safe.

Since our inception, Staple Wasp has been dedicated to providing dependable, high-quality, innovative solutions for the landscape and erosion control industries. Our staple gun has quickly gained a reputation for its reliability and ease of use and dependability on blanket. Now it is widely available both directly from our website and through a network of trusted landscape and erosion control suppliers around the world.

In 2024, the majority control of the business was acquired by David Fenske, a seasoned entrepreneur with a proven track record. With over 30 years of experience in practicing law and holding leadership roles in a leading metal manufacturing company, Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Staple Wasp. Under his leadership, we have expanded our production capabilities and extended our sales reach, ensuring that more professionals around the globe can benefit from our innovative tool. Importantly, Sam Herrmann is still involved ensuring his wealth of information has not left the business.
